Education & Experience with the Treatment of Trauma & Infertility
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University Lincoln Center and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Georgian Court University.
I have been licensed in New Jersey as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Board of Social Work Examiners, and Licensed as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) by the NJ Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also licensed in New York as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).

In my private practice in Red Bank, NJ I am in close proximity to some of the state and nation's leading fertility clinics. In the course of my work, I observed that some of my psychotherapy clients sought therapy with me to cope with the psychological toll of infertility treatments. Many of these women have a history of trauma. I began to think about the connection between the treatment and my client's increasing distress. I noticed maladaptive coping, significant re-experiencing of trauma symptoms, and drug addiction due to their treatment. It is this co-occurring condition which stood out and informed this work which I submit for consideration in partial fulfillment for the degree of
